Where We Sail
We sail the Caribbean and the Atlantic — two of the world's great sailing theatres. Every passage is a real voyage, not a day trip.
Trade Winds
The Caribbean's north-easterly trades blow consistently at 15–25 knots throughout the sailing season — ideal conditions for building confidence and sea miles.
Year-Round Warmth
Water temperatures stay above 26°C across our Caribbean sailing grounds. Comfortable conditions mean more time focused on learning, less time managing cold and fatigue.
World-Class Anchorages
From the sheltered bays of the BVI to the coral reefs of the Tobago Cays, our routes take in some of the most beautiful anchorages on earth.
Sailing Theatre
Trade winds. Turquoise water. Perfect sailing.
The Caribbean is the world's premier sailing destination — and for good reason. Consistent north-easterly trade winds, warm turquoise water, and a chain of islands stretching over 2,500 miles make it the ideal environment for learning to sail and building offshore miles. Our Caribbean passages take in some of the most celebrated cruising grounds on earth.
The BVI is often called the sailing capital of the world. Protected anchorages, steady trade winds, and short passages between islands make it the perfect classroom for ASA 104 and 105/106 students. The Bight at Norman Island, The Baths at Virgin Gorda, and the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar at Jost Van Dyke are just a few of the highlights.
The Grenadines offer some of the most spectacular sailing in the Caribbean — from the lush volcanic peaks of St Vincent to the pristine coral reefs of the Tobago Cays. Longer passages, stronger currents, and more exposed anchorages make this an ideal theatre for ASA 105/106 students ready to push their skills further.
Sailing Theatre
Blue water. Open ocean. Real passage making.
The Atlantic is where sailors are truly tested. Away from the shelter of islands and coastlines, the ocean demands everything you have learned — and teaches you things no marina ever could. Our Atlantic passages are the setting for our ASA 107/108 courses, giving students the blue-water miles and real offshore experience that define a passage maker.
Bermuda sits alone in the North Atlantic, 650 miles from the nearest coastline — making it one of the great offshore sailing destinations in the world. Famous for its pink sand beaches, turquoise water, and the Newport to Bermuda Race, it is a natural waypoint for Atlantic passages and a stunning landfall for any blue-water sailor.
The Azores — a remote Portuguese archipelago rising from the mid-Atlantic — are one of sailing's great waypoints. The Canary Islands sit at the top of the classic Atlantic trade wind route, making them the traditional departure point for transatlantic passages. Passages between these island groups offer genuine offshore miles in the open Atlantic.
